The System is designed to remove Decomposition Products from the circulating Color Positive Developer. The developer is pumped through a resin tank where the Dye is removed.

At the completion of the loading process, the system will automatically be regenerated.

The resin is regenerated by pumping sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate through the resin tank. Following regeneration, the resin is backwashed with the residual water blown to drain.

The Ion Exchange System is micro-processor controlled. All operations and set-up are performed with an easy to operate touch-screen. Access to the touch screen is controlled with a security lock-out. All valves are hydraulically actuated with solenoid valves.
