Degenkolb Engineering provides high quality multimedia Water Filters capable of filtering to a nominal 5 microns. The filters contain four grades of layered filter media in a fiberglass tank. The system is operated by a brass valve with a 2" pipe connection (non-corrosive side mounts available). All filters use an automatic programmable timer to backwash the filters; if desired the automatic backwash can be initiated manually. Backwash requires 5-20 minutes.

Single and twin alternating systems are available in a complete range of sizes. Regeneration can be initiated by an automatic timer or on demand. Twin alternating systems allow one tank to remain in service while the other tank is regenerated providing uninterrupted soft water.
A full range of semi-automatic and fully automatic deionizers is available. All systems include a water quality monitor that will initiate a regeneration as required.
